Canciones tradicionales (Nursery Rhymes)

Todos conocemos canciones tradicionales de nuestro país, nuestra Comunidad Autónoma o nuestro pueblo. Son canciones que se transmiten generación tras generación y que nunca pasan de moda.

Hace unos años, cuando estaba a punto de terminar la universidad, pasé cuatro meses en Balbriggan, un pueblo a 40 minutos de Dublín. Allí realicé mis prácticas como maestra y guardo un buen recuerdo del colegio, de los profesores y de los niños y niñas con los que trabajé. A lo largo del curso, los alumnos y alumnas, y yo con ellos,  aprendimos diferentes canciones tradicionales. Os dejo unas cuantas para que podáis escucharlas, conocerlas y recordarlas. Seguro que aprendéis mucho vocabulario y muchas expresiones.

APRENDIENDO INGLÉS A TRAVÉS DE LOS DIBUJOS ANIMADOS :)

Aprender Inglés puede resultar más fácil a través de los dibujos animados. De este modo, los niños y niñas pueden practicar la comprensión oral y la pronunciación. En los siguientes enlaces encontraréis episodios de series de dibujos animados para ver en casa. Tanto los padres como las madres os podéis animar a verlas con ellos. ¡Es una buena idea!

Roald Dahl

Have you ever heard about Roald Dahl? James and the giant peach, Charlie and the chocolate factory and Matilda are some of his books.

He was born on September 13, 1916, in Llandaff, South Wales. James and the giant peach and Charlie and the chocolate factory were eventually made into popular movies.

THE BEATLES

The Beatles is the most famous pop band in the world. They start in the 1960's in Liverpool, England. George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and John Lennon are the components of The Beatles. John and Paul write and sing the songs and play the guitar. They are the soul of the band. George plays the guitar and Ringo plays the drums. They have created a great deal of songs and they are so well-known that everyone can sing them! Lots and lots of generations love their songs. They are so famous that there is even a cartoon series of their adventures. 

En clase de Inglés hemos estado conociendo a esta banda de música que triunfó en los sesenta.

¡Bienvenidos a mi blog!

La idea de crear este blog surge de la necesidad de mantener el contacto con la Lengua Inglesa tanto en el colegio como fuera de este. Aquí podéis encontrar vídeos, música, sugerencias de páginas web para practicar Inglés y referencias acerca de los temas que trabajamos en el aula a lo largo del curso escolar. 

Espero que sea una buena herramienta para trabajar codo con codo y fomentar el aprendizaje de esta lengua. Y recordad que siempre estamos en constante aprendizaje y que los errores son la prueba de que lo estás intentando.
